Utility Training
|
On a step-by-step progression, dogs learn scent discrimination. They are taught to identify and retrieve a leather and a metal article from a mixed group of five each. Dogs are also taught signal exercises to heel, stand-stay, drop, sit and come, all from a distance and finish. All exercises are off leash.
There is a directed retrieve of one glove out of three at a signal from the handler. A moving stand so a stranger can excuse him/her. Directed jumping with a send out of a signals dog to jump over a bar jump and/or high jump. |
