The earliest training starts with the Kindergarten Puppy class (up to 6 months old). Emphasis is on socialization with other puppies and people so they learn appropriate behavior and can be good citizens.

This class includes lectures on health and health problems, care of dogs and psychology.  The handler and the dog will start learning some of the curriculum of the Novice class including heeling on leash, sitting, standing, staying, coming and lying down.  Two to six month old puppies are accepted in this class.  Puppies older than six months can enroll in novice class.
